How to play four-player on the TV
Faceoff 27 runs in the browser. The TV shows the game, your phones are the controllers. You need no app and no account – just scan the QR code and play.
What you need
- A TV with a web browser – or a PC or laptop connected to the TV with an HDMI cable.
- One to four phones with a camera and an up-to-date browser.
- Internet on the TV or PC and on the phones (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
Step by step

Open the game on the TV
Open play.faceoff27.de in the TV’s browser. If the game doesn’t detect the TV by itself, add /?tv=1 to the address: play.faceoff27.de/?tv=1. The TV then shows a big QR code right away.
With a PC or laptop on an HDMI cable: open the game as usual and choose “Party: TV + phones” in the main menu.

Scan the QR code with your phone
Everyone opens their phone camera, points it at the QR code and taps the link that appears. The phone shows “Connected” and its player number, and the spot on the TV turns green. Up to four phones can join this way.

Hold the phone sideways
Hold the phone sideways, like a controller. On the left you steer your skater with your thumb, on the right are the buttons for pass, shoot and check. If you hold the phone upright, a note reminds you to turn it.

Pick a mode and play
On the TV you choose with the remote or a phone how you want to play:
- One phone: alone against the CPU.
- It is always 5 on 5 with goalies. Each phone controls the skater of its team who is closest to the puck (or the one you pick with SWITCH); the CPU plays the rest.
- Two phones: team vs. team or together against the CPU. In TV mode, “Head to head” starts by itself after a short countdown if nobody picks anything.
- Four phones: two per team against each other.
Good to know
- The phones connect directly to the browser on the TV or PC. Wi-Fi or mobile data – both work.
- If the connection fails, choose “New code” on the TV or PC and scan again.
- Press OK on the TV remote once. Only then does the browser allow sound and full screen.
- If a phone briefly loses its connection, the game pauses until it is back.
